Partner focus: First Cup Cafe

We have been working with First Cup Cafe (located at 11525 S Fry Rd #110, Fulshear, TX 77441) since July of last year and it has been a great partnership. Keith (the co-owner of First Cup) and I have been on the same page since the beginning. Good coffee and good service lead to better community. First Cup Cafe has been focused on serving their community in Cross Creek Ranch and the greater Fulshear/Katy area.

We started our partnership with my Handlebar Espresso Blend and some retail bags, and we have slowly grown our foothold in the shop. Next, they served our coffee in their batch brewers and found that their customers loved it. They now use our coffee exclusively offering three different roasts by the cup as well as espresso and pour-overs. They offer a wide selection of my retail bags as well for you to take home. Keith has also given me the chance to train his baristas on espresso and drip preparation. He even brought a group of his employees to my roastery to see the roasting process in person. 

My goal for First Cup has been to help them put out the best quality coffee possible. They are in a fast-growing area and many new coffee shops will open as construction continues. The goal is to keep First Cup, a small independent shop, ahead of the game as larger chains move into the area. My part is giving them the best product to work with (my coffee). Their part is keeping their customers happy and offering excellent service (which they do a great job of, by the way).

First Cup has been my prime example of how a coffee shop and a coffee roaster can work together. They have utilized my knowledge and advice as a coffee professional to keep their coffee program top notch. I am really excited for their future.

Finally, I am happy to announce that we are now offering pick up at First Cup Cafe. 1. Order your bags of coffee through my online store. 2. An e-mail will be sent when your order has been delivered to First Cup. 3. Pick it up at your leisure during their regular business hours.
