I am very excited to be offering a great Colombian microlot on my lineup again. This year's lot comes from the Tolima region from a medium-sized farm run by Carlos Javier Ramirez, a 19-year veteran of coffee growing. He is a leader in his region and has received training on coffee cultivation. Subsequently, his quality gets better every year. The lot is full of fruit flavors; peach, tangerine, lemon, and has a delicate floral note. This is backed up by a sweet caramel base and an interesting savory base note. Interestingly enough, it is the savory note that balances out this coffee and makes the delicate fruit flavors that much more striking. A thoroughly delicious and complex coffee.
